If you look at only the utter most important resources that have helped me build my business from to the level it has reached today, it will have to be these 3. This is truly the core of my business and I find myself recommending them over and over again in pretty much any situation involving internet marketing and online business managing.

 

Wealthy Affiliate

WA offers a unique platform to help people build, market and monetize their own personal brand online. It takes on all aspects of internet marketing, and it’s the most complete entrepreneurship training platform on the market.

Jaaxy

Keyword research and ranking for the right keywords can greatly impact the results of your search engine marketing campaigns, and there’s no better tool for finding and optimizing for great targeted keywords than Jaaxy.

Aweber

Aweber is the most powerful email marketing tool on the market. I use Aweber to expand my email list and newsletter subscribers, and to give helpful news and tips to my loyal followers.

These 3 form the core of my online business, but there’s still a great list of tools, resources and plugins that I use for the smaller aspects of it. Here is a list of some of the ones that I find most useful:

 

Blog and website hosting

Namecheap: Website and domain hosting service with competitive prices and award-winning customer service. Cheap, fast, secure, and with simple WordPress implementation.

WPZOOM: Beautiful premium Wordpress themes with unbelievable flexibility and outstanding customer support. They even customize the theme for you to fit your needs and wants. For this site I am using a customized version of the WPZOOM Diamond theme.

 

Growing email subscribers

Aweber: The most powerful opt-in and email marketing service on the market, and the core of my email marketing campaign. To learn more about Aweber check out my full Aweber review.

Sumo me: An amazing free plugin with free tools to help you grow your customer base and increase website traffic. Custom opt-ins and popup forms, share buttons, behavior analysis etc.

Optin forms: A free plugin that lets you create one single highly customizable optin form and easily implement it manually or automatically to your site and posts.

Social media engagement

Mashshare share buttons: A top-rated social share plugin with great customization possibilities. The base plugin is free and a bit limited, but Mashshare offers a variety of add-ons to help increase your social engagement. SEO Friendly Images: Automatically optimizes all your images for SEO by giving them proper ALT and TITLE attributes according to your settings.

Website speed and performance

WP Super Cache: Automatically compresses your PHP files into static html files which eventually improves the loading speed of your site. Website speed is a direct ranking factor for SEO.

Speed Booster Pack: Easily implement various actions to improve your overall website speed.

EWWW Image Optimizer: Images have a huge impact on website speed, and this plugin reduces the file size of your images to a minimum without ruining it’s quality, which optimizes their loading speed.

Help and outsourcing

Wealthy Affiliate Community: The WA community are full of striving internet entrepreneurs with all levels of experience and they are really good at sharing their tips and knowledge with fellow community members. You can usually get all the answers you need simply by asking the community or opening a support ticket.

Upwork: Previously Odesk. Hire freelancers from all around the world for pretty much anything you can think of.

 

Photos and images

Dollarphotoclub: A great stockphoto service that offers high-resolution images for only $1 a piece.

Advertising

Google Adwords: Advertise for your site with Google ads. Customize your ad, select your targeted keywords and locations, and pay for every time someone clicks on one of your ads.

Google Adsense: Include Google ads on your own website and get paid for the amount of traffic it gets.

Bing ads: Same as Adwords but for Bing and Yahoo! Smaller reach but cheaper and simpler to use.

 

Monitoring and analyzing

Google Analytics: Google’s free website tracking and analytics tool. An absolute must have for anyone with any kind of website. See 7 web metrics every business should track.

Google Webmaster Tools: See your website the way search engines do and optimize each link in the ranking process for maximum SEO advantage.
